Circular Economy

circular-economy-Benefits

It is therefore imperative to radically rethink the design of our products and the use of basic resources by moving from a linear to a circular economy. The development process of any product must include an environmental impact assessment, verified by an independent body that certifies the new product’s compliance with circular economy standards.

Clearly, the problem of humanity’s ecological footprint is being discussed more and more, as humanity consumes natural resources 1.7 times faster than Earth’s ecosystems can regenerate them. The demand for ecological resources thus exceeds the planet’s regenerative capacity by more than 70%. This phenomenon is often illustrated by the concept of Earth Overshoot Day, which marks the date on which humanity has exhausted all the resources that the Earth can renew in a given year.
