All drum tracks are created from WAV samples of real drums (VST SessionDrummer 3). Rhythms from all types of music are recorded by a real drummer and converted into MIDI rhythms. These patterns produce a fluid rhythm. Of course, I always have to adapt certain parts to my musical creation.
All instruments in the musical creations below (vocals, acoustic or electric guitar, bass, synthesizer, or piano) are played live and composed by myself. Following the musical creation, there is also the mixing and mastering process, which can be equally tedious to achieve good results, but there are now excellent virtual studio technologies (VSTs) to quickly assist you in this process, such as Sonible SmartEQ4 that uses AI to equalize each track and the entire mix.
The SmartEQ4 offers numerous features and parameters that allow you to control your entire mix. After an initial AI EQ based on the selected instrument or mix, you can adjust any part of the frequency band by adding a dynamic filter at a specific frequency to emphasize, for example, your drum kit, a boost around 60-80 Hz for a punchy kick drum, and a smooth boost around 3 kHz for a powerful snare drum.
Below is an overview of the SmartEQ4 in tracks mode with two dynamic filters to control range, threshold, ratio, attack and release, etc. In addition, the entire frequency band is adaptable. The SmartEQ4 thus offers exceptional functionality and is used by professional sound engineers.

Additionally, when I create a guitar solo, there is of course a structure linked to the chords of my musical creation, but there is often a significant amount of improvisation. Generally, the chords used in a musical creation are linked to a single scale, which facilitates improvisation. We can use the circle of fifths to find this famous scale or, conversely, find chords adapted to a specific scale.

When you master a musical instrument sufficiently to be able to convey your feelings through it, it will put an end to the whirlwind of thoughts in your head, because your mind will have to focus on one thing at a time: the activity at hand. This allows you to regain control of your mind and use it as a tool to unleash your full creativity. It’s like practicing a sport, dancing, or painting; all your attention is focused on the task at hand.
I am not a professional musician, let alone a singer, because I rarely train my voice, only when I play my new creation on the acoustic guitar to find the melody. So, I simply record my voice when everything is ready musically and lyrically. So, I hope you will enjoy your emotional journey.
