Circular Economy

So, we must change quite radically the design of the way we create product and the use of the base ressource by switching from linear to circular economy. The development process for any product must include an environmental impact assessment, which must be verified by an independent body that confirms that the new product meets circular economy certification standards.

Obviously, we talk more and more about human Foot Print problem because humanity is consuming nature’s resources at a rate 1.7 times faster than the Earth’s ecosystems can regenerate them. So demand for Earth’s ecological resources exceeds by more then 70% what the planet can regenerate. This is often represented by the concept of Earth Overshoot Day, which marks the date when humanity has used up all the resources the Earth can replenish in a given year.
